Brett Fuller will run in the seat of Menzies in 2019 for the first time as a candidate for Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party.

Like many smaller party candidates in this election, Fuller comes from a background not related to politics. He was previously a printing mechanist before changing career paths in 2006 to become a personal care attendant in an aged care facility.

The Ferntree Gully resident is married with three sons. His party describes him as having strong family values and work ethic. This has seen him involved in local sporting clubs and schools.

He will have a big job trying to outrun Kevin Andrews on May 18, particularly because of his low profile. He will be hoping that the intensive advertising campaign run by his party’s boss, Clive Palmer, will give him the electorate recognition he needs to pull votes away from his conservative Liberal opponent.
