Traditional broadcast journalism is known as a dying field to the public.

It is predicted the industry will decline at an annual of 4.4% over the five years from 2019-20 as many Australians chose to consume news on digital platforms.

Student Reporter Cheryl Wong explored the impacts of COVID-19 in the broadcast journalism industry to current and emerging media professionals.
