Entries are open for Democracy’s Watchdogs’ 2021 student award for investigative reporting.

You can enter stories that were assignments or stories you have pursued on your own. They need to have been done this year.

Apart from the kudos of winning an award judged by some of Australia’s most senior former editors, there’s $1000 and a great trophy for the winners and wonderfully designed certificates for the finalists.

The two categories are written print/online and video/audio.

The deadline is November 5, so you have plenty of time to improve your stories.

Online entry forms and more details can be found here: https://democracyswatchdogs.org/2021-student-awards
