Colin Lane is the Greens candidate. He’s a newcomer to the political stage having worked with the Salvation Army for the past 15 years. He has been the head of the Salvos in region for the past eight years.
Lane has lived around Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula most of his life and now lives in Baxter.
As he is only fresh on the scene – he hasn’t had much presence but he says that he is, “passionate about people and the planet,” and is, “determined to protect the beautiful natural resources of our area.”
Lane says he put his hand up because he says the two major parties have been engaged in tug-of-warring. This, he says, has meant that the best interests of our local Frankston families, businesses and community groups have been ignored.
