In this documentary, Newcastle University students Peter Hyslop, Holly Fishlock, Zali Winch and Sophie Jaggers explore the ‘perfect storm’ of their time studying creative industries: a HECS debt that doubled under the Coalition’s Job Ready Graduates package, savage HECS indexation, and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on their student experience. They decide that, yes, it is worth going to uni, but that it’s not the only pathway.
