GetUp to fight Kevin Andrews in Menzies
The activist group GetUp is taking on sitting Federal member for Menzies Kevin Andrews in a political campaign aimed at pushing conservatives out of politics.
The group’s campaign comes after it released the results of a poll of their supporters that had asked what MPs they would like to see voted out of parliament.
Minister Kevin Andrews was voted the number one in Victoria. A number of other Liberal MPs including Tony Abbott and Peter Dutton also voted top 10 in Australia.
While GetUp campaign leader Shen Narayanasamy says the people of Menzies want more from their leader, Mr Andrews says he won’t give up his seat easily.
