Skateboarder turns insults into motivation
Jess Lacebal, a skateboarder from Malabon City in the Philippines, was born with congenital amputation. Growing up, Lacebal received many insults for having no arms and ended up in lots of fights. But he did not let his scars stop him from moving forward. Lacebal, who is now 33, found his inspiration in skateboarding and uses this as his motivation to face life’s daily challenges.
