Container ship blocking Suez finally free
The Ever Given ship that was blocking the Suez Canal has finally been released this week.
The ship was stuck for just under seven days, causing major disruptions to shipping and trade.
The ship is almost as long as the Empire State Building is tall, and found itself lodged between embankments on each side of the Suez Canal on the 23rd of March.
