A Japanese master of Aikido, a French master chef, an Australian master builder, a master of the Shakuhachi : Masters and teachers can take many forms across a variety of cultures and fields. Those who attain the status of master are those who have dedicated and trained their entire lives to reach the pinnacle of their chosen disciplines. The didactic act of taking on an apprentice means transferring not only the knowledge of their field or discipline, but also their philosophy of life. This podcast explores this fascinating relationship dynamic through in-depth interviews of both masters and their students across different fields of expertise.
