Petrol costs fuelling higher public transport use
Petrol prices rose to a historic high in 2022, rarely going under 2 dollars a litre thanks to the hangover effects of the coronavirus and war in Europe.
This has caused Melburnians to turn to public transport as a more cost effective option to get to work or school.
