Geelong – Liberals: Freya Fidge
Freya Fidge works in human resources at south-west milk processing company Fonterra and was an independent candidate at the 2017 City of Greater Geelong council elections.
Her family has a long history in local government – her father Jim Fidge was the Mayor of Geelong from 1987-89 and her grandfather Roy Fidge was Mayor of Geelong from 1954-56 and 1964-68.
Ms Fidge has pledged to reduce crime, reduce the cost of living pressures and reduce traffic congestion if she wins the state election. She has also promised to establish a Minister for Geelong portfolio.
